Starting from Ouarzazate, the route explores the Dades Gorges and Todgha Gorges, crosses the volcanic Djebel Saghro, then continues to M’Hamid and the high dunes of Chegaga.

- Arrive at Chegaga in time to enjoy the sunset over the dunes.

DAY 04Chegaga – Erg Samar
Camel trek & village lunch
- Depart with the camels toward Erg Samar.
- Stop for lunch in a small, typical desert village.
- Continue the camel trek in the afternoon.
- Bivouac near the dunes in the evening.
DAY 05Erg Samar – Sidi Naji
Tamarisk shade & ancient kasbah ruins
- Continue the camel trek across the desert to discover new wide-open landscapes.
- Stop for lunch in the shade of tamarisk trees.
- Resume the camel trek toward the Marabout of Sidi Naji.
- Camp near the ruins of ancient kasbahs.
DAY 06Sidi Naji – Palm Grove – M’Hamid
Return by camel & oasis lunch
- Return toward M’Hamid.
- Stop in the magnificent palm grove for lunch.
- Arrive in M’Hamid in the afternoon.
- Dinner and bivouac at the M’Hamid camp in nomadic tents.
DAY 07M’Hamid – Tamegroute – Zagora – Marrakech

- Depart by 4x4 track toward Zagora.
- Stop at Tamegroute to visit the historic Koranic library.
