- Travel by road through the Tichka Pass at 2,260 metres, then take the route towards Aït Ben Haddou through Berber villages of the Atlas.
- Arrive at the ksar of Aït Ben Haddou, walk through its sloping alleyways and visit the fortified village, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
- Have lunch in Ouarzazate and enjoy a walk in the city.
- Drive to Skoura and spend the night at a riad in the palm grove.
DAY 02Skoura – Dades Gorges – Erfoud – Rissani – Merzouga · 328 km
Gorges, Fossils, Tafilalet & Erg Chebbi Bivouac
- Depart Skoura in the morning for the Dades Gorges and enjoy a walk through the gorges.
- Continue towards Merzouga via Erfoud, famous for its fossilized marble.

- Continue for about an hour through rocky, arid mountains with striking scenery before arriving in Ouarzazate.
